Nr Gorpley
Catherine and Nigel checked that the waymark posts were upright and put in some additional posts on footpaths no 129 and 109 Todmorden Centenary Way. Catherine likes to show off her painting skills whilst the other waymark photo points clearly to Gorpley reservoir.
Stones
Meanwhile Ken and Mo were working at Stones, footpath no 109 on the opposite side of the Bacup Road. The route is on Christopher Goddard's 'Calder Woodland Way'. Ken replaced the legs and rotting foot board. Mo waded up the ditch to clear the blockages that stopped the water running down to a culvert crossing the road. Wet and dirty work, no mistake, but it prevented the water from running down the footpath, making it a muddy mess.
