Peter, Alex and Mick worked on Todmorden 3 (Jumble Hole) which entailed
removing most of a fallen tree from the track, but we did not clear the tree
fully as it acts as a means of slowing down the cyclists going down a
footpath.
Next was the junction of Todmorden 14 and 15 where we rodded the overflowing
water trough, which was causing the surrounding area to become a quagmire. As
this is on both the Calderdale Way & the Todmorden Centenary Way, it is a
well-used path
We then erected a marker post near Longfield
Terrace that had been requested for one of the newly- published 'There &
Back' routes.
Finally, on Todmorden 177 at Haugh above Lobb Mill, having failed to address the
leaking trough which was making a quagmire of an attractive grassy
track a couple of weeks ago we went up again with more suitable tools &
dug a cross drain.
Longfield Terrace marker post funded by Todmorden Town Council and
the rest funded by donations to CROWS.
