Richard and Ginny did a short session fixing a gate on the Calderdale Way and doing some initial work on the steps down to Hebble Hole.
Gate on Calderdale Way was just about to collapse. The hinge was fixed, slats all screwed together - should last some time.

We then went down the Calderdale Way steps down to Hebble Hole bridge. These are in pretty poor condition with some 12 inches high. Calderdale Highways have asked for a survey of the path so we wanted to widened some of the sections to work out where additional steps could be put in.

Another before and after that doesn't look much different! However, much easier to use.
By lunch time we'd been rained off so Rich very kindly offered to find out why my drainpipe wasn't working - evident in the picture below!
