BASIN STONE PATH, TODMORDEN

Lynda, Ian, Bernard and Rich worked on waymarking and drainage on this well-used path.

It was a long trek . . . and a heavy carry of four yellow-topped guide posts, two steel bars and assorted tools! The purpose of the posts is to make sure people unfamiliar with the area (or walking in mist) are able to keep to the correct path.

Lynda and Rich also dealt with some drainage issues by channeling water off the path and, further up the path, refurbished a waymark post.

As an acknowledgement of the generous funding from Crook Wind Farm Community Fund, we attached some small plaques to the finger-posts.

A waymark post with a bright-yellow top and a pristine 'Todmorden Centenary Way' waymark.
