Mick, Gerald, Ian, Nigel, Frank S. Peter and Ginny worked on a lovely path through the woods above Frieldhurst Road. The path needed repairing in places and springs (even in this dry weather!) needed channelling off the path.
The main job however was putting steps on a very steep slope.
Working close to the edge. An edge which Mick unfortunately lost his balance on, but was saved from worse injury by a convenient tree! (no videos available)
To end on a less sanguine note, here are 2 of the boxed steps constructed around the roots of a large tree which should make things a bit easier for path users in future.
