Working on the path from Blake Dean to Overwood - it was HOT!.
Gerald and Ken worked on a stile where the upright had rotted, They also put in a marker post and did path widening.
On our way back, we spotted that 8 of the slats on the bridge ant Blake Dean are rotten - so an extra urgent job to do next week
Ginny, Lynda, Eleanor and Rich worked higher up, waymarking, cutting back and dealing with a drainage problem.

Stones put over drainage problem. Photos of the cutting back needed before we did it, but the flies drove us away before the after photos.   We have marked the path now though, so at least people can find it.  |
