ERRINGDEN & TODMORDEN

Two teams today.

1. Horsehold Wood path - Rich, Eleanor, Peter, Frank S (first session) and Ian.

Path was very narrow and sloping above some pretty steep slopes. Thanks to Errringden Parish Council we are able to repair this delightful path (as featured in Christopher Goddard's Woodland walks).
We started on Horsehold Road and completed the section before it drops into Beaumont Clough.

Narrow path with sloping edge and encroaching brambles

Narrow path covered in mulch

Working our way around a rock

Steps cut into a precarious slope

Good stretch of widened path
The next session will deal with some water problems and the crossing of Beaumont Clough

2. Inchfield, Todmorden - Gerald, Ken, Mick and Bernard dealt with some problems with stiles and steps

Gerald and Bernard before and after photos of stile
Tricky stile to get over

Much easier now

Mick and Ken before and after photos of stile

You would need long legs to get over this

Is it Art?
