HARDCASTLE CRAGS

Gerald, Sam, Stuart, Dick, Dave, Bernard, Fred and Rich continued the work on the Slurring Rock path.

This stretch of causey stones lower down that were uncovered last week, now pristine after a couple of good downpours!

Further work today to finish clearing the causey stones to the top.

Then at the junction, carried on ahead cutting back the overhanging vegetation on the path and dealing with several drainage problems. Work now completed all the way to the end of the Right of Way path.

The old path bed uncovered and a turnby put in

Stepping stones across the mulch, doesn't look much, but people won't need wellingtons to cross now!

Stepping stones being put in place

One of the many grips put in to keep the water off the path
