RIPPONDEN AND BARKISLAND

Ruth, Eleanor, Lynda, Bernard, Ian and Ginny worked on bridleway waymarks and problems identified in the bridleway survey.

A new marker post was put in at Heatherlands Cottage, up Bank Hey Bottom Lane
 (Thank you Frank)

Two finger posts leaning on walls were re-erected and at Gosling Lane this one was found in the undergrowth!

On the way we cleared steps and marked the hidden footpath and did quite a lot of balsum bashing and cutting back on the bridleway off Bank Hey Bottom Lane.

Sign reinstated!

........and bridleway clear, albeit with water still coming down path!

Finally we donned protective clothing to cut back a very overgrown footpath at Upper Coney Garth where Ginny got stung cutting into a wasp's nest!
