CALDERDALE WAY ON MIDGLEY MOOR

Today's task for Frank, Fred and Graham was to construct some steps crossing the flood eroded path (Calderdale Way) alongside the open moor.

Difficult slope to deal with

Deep Gully and steep bank.

Constructing the steps.

Leveling the path.

Much easier to use than the slippy banking.

Task well done.

Some waymarking was carried out towards Midgley Village.

A stile was repaired west of Scotland Quarry.
