Two teams today.on a grey day of steady rain in Crimsworth Dean.
On the west side of Bridge Clough Paul Sam and Stuart put in two marker posts, cleared some steps,
tidied up a stile and sorted a drainage problem on the two paths running
down from the track to the footbridge.

Just the right conditions to work on the mud-logged causey path across the reedy pasture by Wheat Ing Farm on the east side of Bridge Clough! Bernard, Dick, Gerald, and Stella mudlarked around improving the path. We cleared some existing drainage routes, dug a few new ones, and shifted a LOT of mud. Frank and Dave put a boardwalk over a stream at the far end of the pasture. The entire pasture is a reedy sponge, but the route is now dry enough for easy walking, and will hopefully stay that way for a year or two.
