Burnt Acre bridge Eastwood and Riverside, Hebden Bridge

Bernard, Stuart and Dave had a second go at getting the culvert going.  It appeared  to  have cleared on more than  one  occasion, but alas it filled up again and overflowed , although it continued to flow in the  river.
Stella  and Fred and later the others constructed stone steps down to the river path beside the fence.   The drain flowing under the steps  is now coping with the overflow well . But we are not sure how that will fare in a deluge.
Gerald and Dave (and RJ) went further down to scrape the path and sort the other drain

Graham and Frank returned to finish the refurbishment and repair of the flood damaged footbridge.

A  couple of steps were added.

A small length of revetment was fixed.

Building the steps.

Re-vegetating the step area.

The jobs a good un.

The path after a mud and leaf litter scrape.
