Keighley Road Steps Day 2

Location : Hebden Bridge

CROWs : Dick, Dave, Bernard, Gerald, Terry, Richard and Graham.

Task : the continuation of the work started the previous Wednesday.

Graham and Richard breaking up rocks to fill in the steps.

Dick and Dave constructing a platform at the bottom of the steps to stop anyone falling straight into the road.

The steps higher up were also filled with crushed stone.

The end of the walkway to the top of the steps was filled in with stone and gravel and levelled.

The top steps were completed............

........... and a handrail fitted.
