Drainage work on the Fielden Trail

Much of the work was scraping off years of decaying leaf mould. In a couple a places we found it easier to create a new section of path above the level of the water. Interestingly we found a solid base under the mud which may be an old track used by wheeled vehicles to get up to the house.

Another group worked at Broadgate where they discovered and cleared 8 turnbys, as well as scraping whole path.
