RIPPONDEN - Riverside path

Trish, Eleanor, Linda, Jak and Rich had the task of waymarking the whole of the riverside route both ways between Rishworth and Ripponden. Luckily the fine weather meant surfaces were already dry so adhesive waymarks could be used as needed.

Lots of different techniques for dealing with different surfaces.

The QR code in the middle of the arrow allows you to download detailed directions for walking the route. There will be a print off version on the Heart of the Pennines 100 walks page.

Thanks to Keith Devine for devising the waymark and Pennine Signs for producing. This whole project has kindly been  funded from a recent donation to CROWS from Rebecca Dixon's Community Crowd Funding initiative.

This curious juvenile heron was an added bonus to the day

We have two small waymarking jobs remaining, some stone steps to improve and an information board to install at the start of the walk (at the Last Post).
