Hill House Brink, Height Road, Hebden Bridge
Jerry, Andrew, Guy and Nick made up a gang of four working on a hazardous precipitous path that runs diagonally down hill from Height Road to Raw Lane. This was part of the 'clear up jobs day' and involved shoring up banking by installing lengths of revetment along the path. Fortunately it was a sunny day and path conditions were dry. The path in question is narrow in places exacerbated by overgrown prickly gorse bushes. Some of the banking has collapsed and difficult to traverse. The gang split into pairs to work on different sections cutting the gorse back, widening the path and installing in total 4 lengths of 3-6 metres of investment.
Work funded by CROWS donations - a big thankyou.

The path was widened in preparation and a line marked out in readiness to install the long lengths of revetment. Each section involved joining two 3.6 metre lengths together.

A productive days work though there are more sections to complete to make the path safe for walkers. For another day...
