Neil D and Kasher braved the icy cold winds and the occasional flurries of snow and hail to put up the first of this year's "Ground Nesting Birds" posters.
Today we concentrated on Blackshaw Head, Edge Lane, Popples Common and the road to Walshaw.
Its surprising how many posters you need! Thankfully we have just ordered another batch. We will be out again to blitz other area with posters reminding folk to keep their dogs on a short lead during the nesting season for Curlews, Meadow Pipits and Skylarks etc.
