Clare, Ginny, Charlie (first session) and Rich tackled several waymarking and encroaching vegetation issues on the bridleway between Bank Bottom Lane and Stocks Lane. Today's work was funded by Luddenden Conservation Society.
The details
Ginny and Clare put in a new waymark post and then cut back the path to Bank Bottom Farm.
Charlie and Rich finally managed to get a waymark post in where the bridleway crosses the drive to the farm.
We then joined together to tackle some overgrown holly and brambles.
Then back into two teams; Clare and Ginny fixed two problems on a footpath that crosses the bridleway - clearing some stone steps and fixing a very dodgy stile at the bottom..
Charlie and Rich put in a post and cleared brambles at the end of the bridleway.
A really satisfying day, great views and some sunshine overlooking the Luddenden Valley. Many thanks to the residents of Bank Bottom Farm.
