Ian, Jerry and Rich carried out cutting back and waymarking in the Sowerby area - lovely sunny day, but a bit hot for working!.
Boulder Clough
This potentially useful path known to local people was not waymarked and very overgrown.
There is a path here! |

Brockholes
We then went to Brockholes (below Ryburn School) which is on the Sowerby Bridge Heritage walk
There is quite a lot of cutting back and other work to be done on this section which will be carried out in due course. Today's visit was to deal with the Himalayan Balsam before it flowered and set seed. This work was funded by Sowerby Bridge Town Board.
The final job was to look at a couple of reported problems off Sowerby Lane. The waymarking was sorted but the long path that needs cutting back will have to wait for another day.
