HEBDEN BRIDGE - Nutclough - the final stretch

Today Rich, Paul and Ian completed the revetment to secure the permissive path from Chapel Avenue. We then went upstream to replace a waymark post, do some cutting back and carry out drainage work. These tasks were funded by Friends of Nutclough.

Sometimes you have to be imaginative when cutting timber on site!

A great ending to this project

Then it was over Hurst Bridge and upstream to where the footpath leads off uphill. A rotten waymark post was replaced and the encroaching brambles were cut back. The final job for today was to improve a stream crossing.
