Jerry, Ian S, Rich, Jan and Paul went up to revisit the drainage work near Moorcock Farm and then on to Castle Carr Road to do some waymarking and repair a bridge. Today's work was funded by Calderdale Ramblers and Just Giving donations to CROWS

The details
The problem is water seeping off the moor on to the path and never reaching a drain alongside the wall.
Some of the work we did a few weeks ago has some effect but the channels needed widening and deepening. One section of the sleeper boardwalk was still floating!

Then on to Castle Carr Road to sort some waymarking and replace bridge slats that had rotted.
