CORNHOLME and the TODMORDEN CENTENARY WAY (TCW) near Springs

Today's team of RJ and Kasher made the wrong choice! This should have been a day for working in the sheltered valley but unfortunately we chose the most exposed areas of our 'patch'.

Our tasks today were to install marker posts, update way markers and do the odd bit of drainage. Unfortunately, unlike our colleagues working in Luddenden, the work sites were a long long way from our parked vehicle.

Three new/replacement marker posts were installed. Waymarking was renewed, where possible and necessary, along the route. We also cleared turnbys and ditches to help get water off sections of the TCW. We will be back to do more of this in a few weeks time. A number of future jobs were also identified and will be added to Todmorden's "to do" list . .  . and a very long list it is!

Today's work has been funded by individual donations to CROWS. Many thanks.
