TODMORDEN - Various

On a beautiful Autumn day, there were three teams out from Todmorden:

1)    Ginny and Kasher spent the day clearing (and creating) turnbys on Tod 193, the track near Ragby Bridge.

2)     Mick and Gareth spent part of the day ferrying equipment, timber and aggregate for team 3 (Neil Mc and David). They then went to replace a marker post at the top of Tod 144 (off Allescholes Road) before investigating major drainage problems at the bottom of Tod 144 (between Rough Stones and Clunters Clough). We will be back next week to do more work on this route.

3)    Neil Mc and David finished the flight of steps on Tod 112 near Low Hey Farm in Gauxholme. As these steps were on really sticky clay they put down a geo-textile and back-filled with aggregate to consolidate the tread area.

Thanks to the owners of Plantation Barn who kindly allowed Kasher and Ginny to park in their yard. It made the walk to the work site much shorter!.

Today's work has been funded by Little Box Consulting Ltd. Many thanks.
