Mick and Ian V went up Sourhall Road and along to Flailcroft to measure up for replacing some very steep steps down towards Scaitcliffe Wood. We made contact with the landowner and arranged for the required timber to be delivered to the site. We then made our way over to the planned 'Havok Mountain Bike Park' at Portsmouth with a short diversion to inspect the trees and their guards just off Tower Causeway.
The site is currently being developed so we checked the existing rights of way and will be back soon to install some sign posts.
Our final visit of the day was to Shore to put up some posts on the footpaths below the chapel.
