On a beautiful sunny day Frank S and Ray were in Haven Wood on footpath HR045 that goes down from Haven Lane to Wood Hey Lane. This footpath is very steep in parts and illegal use by mountain bikers has caused deep erosion. The most damaged section was given six steps a year or two ago, but the erosion has continued, and so today we added three more steps below the original six, and three more steps above.
