There were two teams out from Todmorden today. Ken and Kasher were repairing stiles between Lower Ashes and Swallowshaw on footpaths Todmorden 023 and 024. Catherine and Mick were reinstating marker posts on footpath Erringden 024 from Stoodley Glen to just below Burnt Acres.
Stiles: Three stiles very close together all needed work on them to make them both safe and stock proof. On day one we managed to complete one stile, undertake some work on a second stile and measure up for the remaining work to be completed next week.
We also looked at a few other stiles in the area which had been reported to CROWS to see whether they needed urgent work on them.
