Ian and Ginny returned to attach the gate, which Frank had worked wonders on, to the post which we put in last week. Screwing it to the post was the easy part.
After several attempts to attach the spring Ian referred to YouTube (luckily there was a signal) and it will now spring back after people have crossed the stone step stile.
After checking the work in the Nutclough the rain drove us home.
