SURVEYING AND WAYMARKING

Following our decision to stop work during the lockdown, we have reinstated the system for going out in pairs surveying and waymarking paths that we used in the last lockdown.
We have made this decision because:
  • We have done a robust risk assessment
  • We can easily work at 2 metres distance
  • CROWS volunteers will be going out for a walk for exercise in any event
  • The current government guidance allows for voluntary work to continue.
We will try and avoid lingering on paths that go near people's houses. We will also monitor the work to make sure it is safe.

We will prioritise published walks, especially the Todmorden Centenary Way (about to be republished) and the Calderdale Way.
