Todmorden
Just one team out today - Mick, Ken and Frank S - working between Cross Stone and Great Rock. Ken and Frank tackled a footpath (Todmorden number 30 leading off Butts Lane) which had completely disappeared. This is how it looked from the road.
But after a couple of hours of hard work it was transformed into this.
Further up there was a thicket of brambles, nettles, and raspberries that has now been cleared to provide a super highway for walkers.
Meanwhile, Mick was roaming the dense network of footpaths in the nearby fields, replacing all the faded and broken waymarks and surveying the condition of the stiles.
