No photos today I'm afraid! Lynda and Eleanor waymarked (yellow blobs!) the path across the fields from Royd Lane to Soyland Town, and cut back a very overgrown shrub shielding the entrance to the path.
We then drove to Barkisland and waymarked a path across fields between Saddleworth Road and Greetland Road.
After that we went to the top of Cockpit Lane a byway near Ringstone Reservoir which had been reported by a member of the public as being difficult to negotiate because of the broken down surface and over growth. We made a start from the top of the track lopping back trees to enable horse riders to navigate the byway. Work in progress,
