Bernard, Ian, Heidi and Ginny responded to a request to work on the bridleway which goes in a SE direction from Popples Common down Murkin Lane. It was not hard to see why riding a horse down this route would be dangerous, if not impossible!
However, with various techniques, we managed to make it a lot easier to access.

We then moved on to Lobb Mill car park and another bridleway, this time going up to Rodwell End.

A lot of work on overgrowing trees restored it to use as a bridleway.
