MANKINHOLES & GREAT ROCK

Two teams out today.

Gerald and Frank S. were at Mankinholes by the terrible junction at the top of Shaw Wood Road, clearing the nettles, brambles, holly, and lots more from the path that goes steeply down into the wood. (Todmorden 178)

There's a very clear stile in the wall, but where's the footpath?

I think there's a path somewhere in there.

It's looking better now with the top steps cleaned and causey stones starting to appear.

                                       Now that's what I call a footpath.

And here's the steps at the bottom.

Team 2 consisting of Ken, Mick and Peter reinstated two finger posts on Long Causeway at Mankinholes and then moved on to do the same on the Calderdale Way at Great Rock.
