We repaired two stiles near Blackshaw Head. First of all we replaced the tread boards on one of the stiles and also reinforced an upright by installing a shorter post next to the existing one then connecting them together.

The other stile required a new supporting post as the existing one had rotted away. The tread board was also in poor condition.

A new post was installed and we made use of some of the old treadboard from the previous stile to complete the repair.
