Team 3. Mo and Stella
We returned to work on the paths which run from Widdop Road into the Crags. After some waymarking by High Greenwood House (which should stop folk wandering into the wrong garden) we returned to the path (no 21) which runs from Acre Farm across the field and into the woods, finally joining the Clough Hole path to Gibson Mill.
There are over 200 steep stone steps on this path and a lot of them need clearing of mulch and overgrowth. We tackled about 50 of them.
We also remedied a couple of drainage problems, one of which was quite spectacularly pouring Storm Gareth's rainfall onto two paths at the bottom of the hill. Some simple (wet!) embankment work higher up the slope fed the water back into its proper channel and into the drain under the path. The paths should now dry out.
