MYTHOLMROYD & LUDDENDEN

Stoney Lane (a path off Height Road, Mytholmroyd)

Fred, Paul and Frank continued with the work on this path. Three wooden steps and one stone step were added to the revetment area, two wooden steps were put in place near the gate, the gateposts were made more secure, the gate fastenings were sorted out and banking, turfing, seeding done as needed. A day of good progress in fine weather.

Luddenden

Bernard Dave Dick & Richard J cut the privet hedge right back on the path from Luddenden Lane to the pack horse bridge. Access is now much easier. Sorry no before shots.

Gerald, Sam and Ginny replaced 2 posts in Cragg Vale.  The first was a support for crossing the stile at Spa bridge.

The next was a fallen fingerpost just up the track from Dauber Bridge.

More secure now, just a bit shorter!

On the track up from Frost Hole the water had gauged out a large hole.

So Gerald and Sam moved boulders to fill it in and protect the wall - and pedestrians!
