Ian, Rich, Frank, Gerald and Ginny revisited drainage work done previously and to sort a new problem. Drizzle all day so good to check state of drainage!
Side drain cleared all the way down - cutting back, removing rocks, dredging and putting in silt traps.
The new problem was a spring that was coming out from under the setted path.
To sort this we had to create a cross drain to take the water off the path into the side drain.
Once the setts were removed, we back filled it with small stones. By the time we left the water was draining out fine.
