NORLAND

NORLAND, ROUGH HEY WOODS

Gerald, Ian, Nigel, Peter and Ginny were out today improving the other end of this Village Walk through the woods.

There was a long stretch of deep mud covering a good hard path which can't have been seen for years.

So with some synchronized azading, we made a great improvement to the path walking experience.

We also channeled a stream which was flowing across the path and cut back a lot of holly, but the rain was too heavy by then to take photos!

You might also like to see Trish surveying Mytholmroyd paths on Erringden moor.  I think this stile needs an extra tread-board - not far to carry the timber!
Agree, a bit high.
