Mick and Ian re-rected 2 finger posts at Hippins and did cutting back and dealt with a fallen tree at
Ratchers (top of Hole Bottom).
Eleanor, Nigel, Ginny, Rich, Trish and Ginny. Appalling weather.
Several problems on this popular path, encroaching vegetation, path narrowing, difficult approaches to crossing the stream and a rotting step.
Path before cutting back
Path after cutting back
Set of steps, bottom one rotten but also leading you to the edge of a very steep slope!

Set of steps, bottom one rotten but also leading you to the edge of a very steep slope!
New step put in at an angle and revetment
to prevent further erosion of the path.
Very uneven surface and trip hazards approaching the stream,
now much easier to move along (even if it doesn't look it)
Bank encroaching steps, step surface eroded with loss of material.
Bank cut back to full width and revetment put in to prevent more erosion
