First job was to put in a marker post at a confusing junction.
Sometimes the only way of removing the spoil is to use your hand!
Marker post in pretty securely
Calderdale Way finger post down on Ripponden Bank
No saw bench to help cut off the rotted piece, but needs must.
A bit shorter but does the business
In between times, half a dozen way-marks put up, bit of drainage sorted and some cutting back done. Met some people from down South who were walking the Calderdale Way who said the way-marking was pretty good so far.
Meanwhile Ruth and Ian set off from Ripponden to cut back the next section of the Calderdale Way. En route several way-marks went up, a stile was fixed and some drainage sorted.
