 Todmorden Village Walk above Ashenhurst

Richard J, Dick, Gerald & Stella made a return visit to this footpath which was last cleared about a year ago.  The way was opened up again with a lot of strimming and cutting back.  Nice to see that the causey stones we uncovered last year are still visible.  We also tried to tackle the very wet section resulting from a spring seeping through the wall and flooding the path.  Some of the water is now running away via a new ditch.  We'll be returning to put a section of boardwalk over the part which cannot be adequately drained.
