Waymarking and dealing with a landslip

Waymarking
Trish and Ruth way-marked the Calderdale Way Flints Moor section.
Weather conditions harsh at first but became brighter. One of the posts to waymark was on top of very slippy embankment but we accomplished the job safely thankfully.

This was the slippy embankment one!!

Richard and Linda way-marked the Calderdale Way from Sandbeds to Heptonstall.

Landslip below Winters
Frank, Nigel, Alistair and Ginny worked on a very overgrown path below Blackshaw Head which was affected by a landslip. Landslides and overgrowing trees meant the path had almost vanished!

Clearing some of the undergrowth

But some hard cutting back and stone shifting made the approach to 'the long drop toilet' usable again.

The second landslide was from the wall above and a new path had to be created.

A lot of mud clearing was also needed!
