Gerald, Lynda and Ginny worked on a bridleway off Bank Hey Bottom Lane, Ripponden bank.

We couldn't stop the water running down the lane - that would need major ditching work.

But once we'd removed the mud there was a good hard surface underneath.

And when overhanging branches were removed and the edges cut back the path was much wider.

Friday 25th September 2015 workparty.  Ryburn area.
Trish, Eleanor and Barbara split from Lynda, Gerald and Ginny and carried out some cutting back in Quaker Lane, Folly Lane area.  Eleanor and Barbara tackled Folly Lane, which is badly overgrown and all the work wasn't completed on that day.  It is intended that the rest will be completed on Wednesday 28 October workparty, which is in the same area.

This is my first attempt at inserting text and photos, and I'm pleased to have 'bumbled my way through the process'. !  Obviously there's room for improvement, I need a refresher course Terry!!!
