Barbara, Bernard, Dave, Fred, Gerald, Graham, Richard, Stella.

Barbara, Bernard, Fred & Richard fixed a fence and did some cutting back in Redacre Wood, and then joined the others clearing (203, or was it 204?!) steps just west of Knott Wood at Charlestown.

Gerald & Stella worked on the steps and Dave, Graham and Stella cleared the path leading up to them.  This was a lush green jungle,  overhung with low branches and thoroughly choked with  Himalayan balsam.  Steady, warm grey drizzle all day, and the gentle kiss of midges! A nice local lady thanked us for the work carried out to improve her Local path and made us a welcome cup of tea.

The path before....

...and after

Fence at Redacre pulling away from path.  Richard, Bernard and Fred fixed it back in place with pegs.
