CROWS (Community Rights Of Way Service)

Location : Todmorden Bus Walks, Stoodley Pike.
CROWS : Dick, Dave, Bernard, Graham, Stella, Richard J and Terry
Tasks : Clearing stone causey, erecting signpost and drainage.

The main objective was to redirect walkers away from the badly eroded footpath and back onto the original pathway.

 Work had to be done clearing original turnbyes to maintain the drainage off the original footpath.

 This also meant creating routes for the water to get to the turnbye.

 The final route for any water.

 We decided to create a cairn to help walkers keep to the original route.

An extra way- mark was fixed to aid walkers along the route.
