Work at Red Acre Wood. Pennine Way Link Colden.

                                                                 Dave, Dick and Stella.

Changing a gate for a step stile after the landowner complained
that users of the path were leaving the gate open allowing stock
to enter the adjacent woodland.
The path forms part of  children's trail produced and funded by
Mytholmroyd Walkers are Welcome.

Sorting out the upright posts.

Ramming the posts home.

Looking good.

Good enough for Dave.

Richard J, Bernard, Graham and Gerald.
Finishing off the cleared and cleaned Causey path
Part of the Calderdale Way which now forms part of the
Hebden Bridge/ Pennine Way Link near Heptonstall.

Gerald on his knees.

Another section looking towards Hebble Hole.

Sheep have already found a good use for the  new Waymark posts.

Section towards Lumb Bank.

This was a bit of a surprise.
The landowner appears to be fencing alongside the newly cleared path.

The boys next to the gate that was re-hung.

The old well was cleaned out.

Cleared steps leading from Lower Colden.
It must have taken a lot of Clogs to groove out the steps so much.

Fred and Frank were out somewhere?
We did not see them after the carry of materials to the Red  Acre site
