Location : Todmorden Moor above Shepherds Rest
CROWS : Stella, Frank, Richard J, Bernard, Gerald and Terry
Task : Revetment and drainage
Weather : Cool but dry.

Thankfully the weather was good for the trek to base camp as all the provisions had to be carried uphill to the work sites.

Bernard, Frank and Stella set about constructing the revetment on this dangerous section of pathway.

As you can see they did and excellent job which hopefully will be completed next week.

The rest of us set off for the summit, or so it seemed. Richard found some snow and decided to snowball Gerald.

Our task was to dry out some of the footpath by strategic drainage.

It is often the case that you can see little effect for your efforts when doing drainage work but these before and after photographs show a little of the  work we did in this particular area.

These are some of the other areas we tried to drain. We hope when we go back next week we will see some improvement.
