Neil M and Kasher went to the junction of Matthew Lane (BW Tod 030) and Baulk Lane (BW Tod 031) to improve the waymarking on the footpath Tod 030. This path goes through a number of fields, keeping to the wall side, and then along a beautiful, small walled lane past the ruin of East Farm at Rodwell End, to come out above the woodland (Lower East Lee Wood).
We have installed three yellow-topped marker posts and have cut back the jungle of brambles blocking the walled lane. We will return to install one more marker post just above Lower East Lee Wood and hope to construct a gate or stile at the top end of Tod 030 where it emerges onto Matthew Lane.
