There were four teams out from Todmorden on Friday (14 March):
Team 1: Neil Mc, Andrew and Charlie (welcome to Tod!): stile building above Frieldhurst on one of the footpaths of the Fielden Trail (Tod 049).
Team 2: Mick and Gareth: acting as Sherpas for Team 1 and then completing the waymarking and step building on the path from Pexwood Road (Tod 105) to Watty Farm on Tod 102.
Team 3: Catherine and David: working on Back Lane (Tod 031) near Pex Tenements, to shore up the path which was being undercut by the stream and to repair the trashed stile.
Team 4: RJ and Kasher: completing the repairs to the boardwalks/bridges on the Todmorden Moor Geology Trail and improved the waymarking on the trail, which follows the bridleway (BW098) from Flower Scar Road.
Today's works have been funded by Todmorden Moor Wind Farm (for team 4), by a Calderdale Council Ward Forum grant (team 1), and by individual donations to CROWS. Many thanks.
